  11. Debbie, apples are always a sign of fall...love those plates, but those napkins are what caught my eye, fabulous. Your centerpiece is great, wish my table was a little larger so I could do something like yours. Have a great rest of the week!

  15. How fun to have so many apple-themed goodies! I love the whimsy you've added by embroidering the napkins differently--so clever! What a lovely introduction to fall table!

  17. As I started reading this, I remembered the short time that we lived in Murphysboro, IL very early in our marriage. When I got to the end and saw Southern Illinois, I thought...maybe?? I'm still in Illinois, South Central now...surrounded as you are by apples.

Your table is wonderful. I love the fabric and your napkins are darling. I'm in awe at people who do anything with thread and fabric. I have no skills in that area. I really love a table with elements of surprise...very nicely done.

  19. Hi Debbie,

The cake sounds fantastic! Amazing what you can do with a tomato -- I tried tomato wine at a tastng at local winery last year (didn't expect to like it, but it was my favorite!). Your table's wonderful, casually elegant with great textures and warm, rich colors. Nicely done, as always!
