This book is just 5 inches, so each page will hold a small photograph or a tiny bit of journaling. I used cardstock paper ... tripled for the covers and doubled for the pages. The Cricut Elegant Edges die made the cute pages. The following photos show the dimension of the things I attached to the front cover. I added a few drops of glitter glue and attached the gems with glitter glue.
I know Phoebe will love the extra strands of ribbons on the book binding. Anything that flows, sparkles and shines makes her happy!
I'm going to show you each pair of pages. I used coordinating papers and colors.
These pages show a few elements. I used Cricut to cut several things and used some chipboard add-ons and small plastic stickers. I also used some paper that has a raised embossed pattern ... so that added even more dimension.
I've studied a few mini books made by others and noticed that many people load the pages with all kinds of baubles ... so where do the pictures go? I deliberately left room for photographs.
I used my acrylic stamps on these pages.
I loved snowdays when I was a child and Phoebe does too! What child doesn't love a day off with plenty of snow to play in? We are destined to get lots of snow and she and her dog, Mila, will make a mad dash for the back yard!
Stamps again on the edge of the right page make the two pages blend nicely.
Here's a view of the back cover ... matches the front cover ... and one more look at the finished product! I'm excited about giving it to Phoebe this week, as she awaits that snowday!
I'll be sharing this with a few parties, so make sure you click through to see the other posts!
